and i replied “it could never work out.”

This got me thinking… about friendship

Friendship is simple.

It is where two people on different paths, meet together at a certain point in life.

The friendship journey begins as they walk on TOGETHER.

Along this journey, one might fall, and the other helps the fallen one up.

Along this journey, one may sway, and the other helps to guide the lost one back on track.

Along this journey, both may fall out or drift and walk back onto seperate paths.

Therefore, friendship is a two way thing, which requires efforts from both parties to keep going.

I love gatherings because we see each other grow through the years, the laughter, the smiles, the same old jokes we never get sick of, being there for one another, being a shoulder, being a support, just their being there is great!!

So why is it so hard to organise a simple gathering?

Because people’s priorities change. There’s nothing wrong with that. As we grow older, we will have work commitments, family commitments, and other priorities.

It’s alright if you can’t make it for gatherings, it is totally understandable, because I may do it sometimes too.

I’ll still keep calling you once in a while, in hope to catch up with you some day. But i do give up at times, when i feel there’s no point in a friendship when one cant be bothered

They say you know who your true friends are when in your lowest times.  And I am thankful for JAMmers, FATE girls, BOYfriends, DUMBernarians, for they have walked with me on this path of friendship.

To a special long time friend: we’ve been through so much over these many years. drifted in and out throught the joy, the laughter, the fights, the quarrels, the sundays, the bitching, the boys and the betrayal in sec 2 that i regret VERY much!!! And you forgive me, and was there for me when i really needed someone to cry on! You have no idea how much it meant to me when you came out from the crowd of strangers last year to be my support!! Thank you so much babe! I am so sorry for what i did. And i am so proud of you, my once shortest classmate, is now one of the hottest and sexiest babe on earth! you go girl!!! =)
