5 days of SIANS-LAND

I realised i’ve not said the word “sian” about anything in australia, other than when i was studying for exams. Every other day was just so amazing, even if it was meant lazing around the quad with the girls.

Ah i miss aussie land!!!

But anyway,

you know you’ve been away from home (singapore) for quite a while when…

: you step out of the plane and cannot breathe due to the humidity

: the drive home seems so foreign

: you’re excited to see the people you love

: you feel like a stranger in your own house

: things in your house has changed since you left

: you miss the country you just came back from

: you crave for local food

: you can’t stop talking and relating everything to memories in the country you came back from

: your handphone rings with welcome back messages

: you suddenly feel popular with many appointments and people to meet

: you cannot stop complaining about the weather

: you resort to bathing twice a day

: you start making a list of what to eat and where to go

: you realised you left some stuff in the other country that you need here

: you feel claustrophobic in the train

: you’ve lost track of time due to day light savings

: you keep complaining about locals and their bad manners

when i think of more i’ll add… meanwhile… i’ll be back till mid feb, so slow down, there’s plenty of time to meet up =)

the last few days

i’ll be back in 3 days!

i’m kinda sad to leave, but happy to go back home too.

but anyway, the last few days have been so so so awesome!!! the girls have been the bestest bunch of babes ever! we rock at being best shopping buddies, cam whore babes, nonsensical bunch, and the most amazing memories made.

with the car, we headed to have Ipoh Hor Fun, the best one in pert.

it’s like a family dinner!!! =)

then we had mcdonald’s 50c ice cream!!! =0 even though we were really kinda full from the huge portions

and we stopped by the river to take a shot with the nice perth city in the back drop.

The next day we borrowed the car again and went to Swan Valley!!! =) (thanks fabian)

So we headed to the margaret river chocolate factory to get free chocolates and buy some really yummy yummy yummy chocolates!!! =)

it was TUBE day… or bare shoulders day where we all dressed up pretty to be hot babes on a road trip and have an awesome girls day out!!!

then we went for wine tasting

and after that was some honey tasting

the sky was so blue, clouds so white and cotton-ish

lovely lovely day!

we then headed to the nougat factory

car models???? hahaha

took lots and lots of photos!!!

hung out in the middle of the field under the clear blue sky and lazed around till we got water bomb thrown at us..

these past few days have just been AMAZING!!! =)

today was just pack-up-room-day and say goodbye to cool college people… super duper sad and big time party pooper feeling in me!!! =(

my room was a mess last night… had absolutely no space to walk. i used my laptop on the floor, and i had no idea where to start packing

lucky thing, i managed to get started today. it does look abit neater, but pretty empty.

got to get the guys to help me carry some stuff down the 5 flight of steps…. hehehe =)

its amazing how an empty room slowly changed into a cosy comfort zone and then just within a few days, its back to is emptiness again.

back home soon!!!

i miss everyone and the food!!!! =P

and driving a MANUAL CAR!!!!

EXAMS ARE OFFICIALLY OVER!!!!

I kinda miss the library, with the many library buddies, snacks and beautiful purple flowers outside… but i’m just so so so thankful exams are finally over and done with.

Back to SG in less than a week!!! I can’t believe a semester just went by like that!!

So these are the very very very few events that has been happening (cos i’ve been a good girl studying hard in the library).

Sarah’s birthday waas a blast. Check out her blog: CLICK HERE for a real good update on the 20 presents she received!!!

We celebrated it across oceans with Leanna too!!!

At the start of this month was Caleb’s 21st birthday too… and we went out for DIM SUM!!!! =)

And it so happened that it was perth’s air show, so there were planes flying around and stuff. We watched it from King’s Park.

Then it came CHERYL’s 19 BIRTHDAY!!!

blind folded her to Ti Amo Restaurant where we had really really REALLY yummy mussels, steak, and pasta!!

Happy birthday hot babe!!! =) thanks for being such a great bubbly, smiley friend, good MNO study buddy…

We made her walk blindfolded all the way, doing stunts, posing, pushing fake doors and standing in the middle of the road doing nothing.

These 2 crazy but cute and funny aussies joined us for drinks at night in jade’s room! We made them wear pretty purple tiaras!!! =) hahahaha

Sunday, cheryl, jade and I headed to Subiaco market to have high class atas high tea!!! =)

We had really yummy fresh yoghurt, use as dips for sweet sweet strawberries, an sub way cookies! hahahah =) the houses at subiaco are so pretty and peaceful!!!!
