even a thunderstorm couldn’t wipe the smile off my face

midnight struck with my voice traveling across skype 8000 miles away to calfornia, followed by a knock on my door, smiles, shouting, receiving wishes, flower from sarah, tearing up a bubble wrap envelope, and watching a powerpoint slide =)

love from my two besties…

THEN to school i headed in the morning, and my birthday present from school was an 80% score for my essay =)

Lunch was at TAKA sushi restaurant with javier… VALUE for money =) yum yum yum sushi

Had a good lunch and walk around the city =)

Skipped dinner because I was full of sushi… then we headed out to St Cath’s Quad party with the girls. Got my first free drink *smiles* hahaha…

It was great with the girls =) chill and relax… laugh and dance

Then we headed back because we needed to do work and i had a test the next day to study for…

So as i stared at the notes filled of statistical data and formulas, marian came into my room, and suddenly…

my room was filled with 24 loving people from tommy more!!! awww i love you all!!!!

thanks MANY MANY MUCH MUCH to sarah bestie for planning everything, the cake, and not giving up despite the set backs

thanks much to marian, wendy, jade, cheryl for making the card and coordinating it all. (It’s on my WALL!!! and i love it)

thank you javier and sarah for the bean bag, and the guys who went to get the beans.

Then it was dimsum this afternoon =)

the egg tarts were simply HEAVENLY… i feel like buying more!!!! hahahahah

Good Luck to all those working through the F1 race… even at conrad they’re complaining that its very loud. I wish i was there to see/hear/experience this man.. DRAMA MAMA

tonight is very clear…. rraaahh!!!! i need to sleep!!!!!! but leanna wouldn’t let me!!! ahahahahahah she’s on webcam watching me fall asleep and shouting my name to wake me up!!!! hhaha

Araluen Flower Park

You know it’s spring when you head out with great company to a flower-blooming park.

P.S. my new blog header is the flower shots from this PARK!! =)

With my bestfriend at the back seat, and 3 other guys in a car, we head off to Araluen Botanic park to see (supposedly) more than 100,000 tuilips blossoming.

Nope i didn’t get this off the internet. We took these beautiful shots of blossoming tulips, daisies, roses and BLUE BELLS… so nice =) credits to sarah for the  nice flower shots

So we went with Fabian, Caleb, Melvin, Gen, Ruth and Aeris

a lazy lazy friday morning

waking up to sunshine, lazing in the soft comfy bed, listening to heart melt music, sharing the fresh air with great company and with absolutely no assignments, due dates, school and work in mind…. ahhhh… isn’t that how life should be?

that should how all my friday mornings should be =)

so here’s what has been happening down under!

COLLEGE HAPPENINGS:

went for my first pub crawl with the other collegians… pub hop from one to another… girls rule!!! had so much fun with all the girls!!! that’s why we don’t need guys!! hahaha…

then the major event of this semester, COLLEGE BALL, wore a white dress (as you can see from previous post), and everyone was in such amazing gowns and suits. Took a few photos so enjoy:!!!

everyone in the college gathered to take a formal photo outside the college.

then the buses came and brought us to Hilton Hotel in Perth

we had a cocktail reception so we all started taking photos, these are the COOLz (19 yrs old at point in time) kids of the college.

but this photo i have got to show you. Hot babe of the college. Doesn’t she look familiar??? Like the girl who played in HEROES… right right? hahaha… she’s pretty =)

so we had dinner (the food REALLY REALLY SUCKED!!!! damn lousy standard for a hotel), and they hired a professional photographer to do studio shots for us, so this is a pic of the new-kids-on-the-block in college =) love the props!!

this is one of the best shots of the night, credits to sarah for her photography, and credits to me and Don for our matching white outfits =). It looks like a humble little village girl getting match-maked with a rich young businessman. HAHAHAH =X

we went back for dessert, the BEST DISH with yumym icecream!!!

THEN it was fabian’s convocation/graduation… congrats man!! on getting your degree… and going on to honours…

but the main purpose of going was for the free food la =P hhahaha

LAST NIGHT!!! we celebrated lantern/mooncake festival. had mooncake, pig in the basket and many other traditional treats. when asked about this festival…. hmm… was it chang er?? oh no… hahaha… i’m bad with traditional stories =P

aunty elsie and clarissa (sarah’s mom and sis) came over to perth for a week!!!

so we had a day out of food shopping, and dress up “KEN”

we went to eat at Miss Maud’s swedish restaurant lunch buffet… really yummy stuff =) weeee…..

We then headed to shop!! and started dressing up our lifesize “KEN DOLL”

TADA!!!! so much better looking with bright shirt and cool shoes =)

and pirate girls??? haha yes i know we look CUTE! =) hahahah

so aunty elsie and clarissa are back home in sg safely =)

and for the past few weeks i’ve been staying up late, having minimal sleep, studying for STUPID STUPID mid sem tests… and rushing 3000 words essays. The tests are STUPID because it’s 75 MCQ in 45 minutes. and we get stupid questions like this:

who is the lecturer of this subject
A – Dr Christine Soo
B – Gopalan
C – A & B
D – All of the above
E – None of the above

and all the questions are structed in this way. I think if i chose all answers as “all of the above”, i would have gotten a distinction.

anyhow, it’s over. and next week’s MID SEM BREAK!!!! I have one week break, and i’ve a few things planned =) *CONCIERGE AT WORK*

We’re heading to ROTTNEST island, which is like sentosa, BUT it has much more nicer beaches, clear water, great weather, much much better VILLAS, and i am SO EXCITED ABOUT IT!!!! =P
