Thailand Trip
Time for the proper update on the trip to Amazing Thailand.
First 7 days of the trip was spent in Chiang Rai, Catholic Mission Centre of Wiang Kaen, where i spent time with the most lovable and innocent kids.
Ones who need no technology nor electronic equipment to bring about the widest and cutest smile.
This is Tatchai, born with a question mark on his head. Simply Adorable!
So it was basically alot of SLEEPING, downloading korean music for the priest (long story), afternoon naps, playing the guitar, sleeping, bible study late into the night, going to the local market, full body massage, going to their school, and just relaxing while the kids were at school.
Later on, i tagged along to fetch them and send them to school with this truck. Now I know how mothers feels anxiously waiting for their children outside the gate, just to see them run towards her with a big smile on their face, maybe with a hug, or whatever signs of a safe and happy child. Simple pleasures of life.
Weekends they will play, work in the garden, watch tv and study. I just snapped away with my camera.

Ah i love chiangrai. =( Chiang Mai for one day was basically transit to Bangkok, but managed to meet up with Wasan, one of the boys i met 3 years ago.
Did a little shopping, took the local bus service (which was abit like the anastasia movie bus you jump on and stand holding a pole) ate super yummy coconut sherbet, went to visit an old aged home, and walked around town for abit.
Next destination was to: the World’s Largest Carpark!!! BANGKOK
There’s a jam in at least one road at any time of the day. It’s just like cars in a car park moving around to find lots. There’s even jam in the actual carpark itself.
Some of the cars don’t put on their handbrakes so the police can push the car aside to make space for other cars to move around -_-” Poor owner comes back and find his car being pushed another 100m away. hahaha
Bangkok was more shopping and eating. Meeting up with the others i met 3 years ago.

I love this restaurant. By the river, with good view of the bridge and splendid sunset at 6pm.
The weather lady was good to us, we managed to avoid rain all the way till last two days. Monday we took the bus 1 and a half hour out of town to meet up with Kajohn and Pi Chee one more time, don’t know when’s the next time i can meet them.
Chinatown has many many things but not walkable when it rains. So basically covered the main areas in Bangkok, Chatuchat, Siam Square, some malls, Chinatown,
oh and the FLASHLIGHT NIGHT MARKET, you used to have to bring a flashlight to go around and buy things cos it’s really dark. but now most of the stalls have their own lighting. It is like the thieves market, but it has EVERYTHING, car seats, car steering wheel, knuts, bolts, screws, mop, light bulbs, many many household stuff, bicycles, clothes, cds, food… etc.
Bangkok was very rushed, wake up, go out, come home sleep. At least I didn’t feel too much of a tourist cause sis brought us around like locals (she’s almost half thai already). HAHAhaha…
I still love Chiang Rai. I wanna go back!! I miss the children! =( I miss Fr Paul and his interesting interpretations, his crazy music randoms, I miss simplicity.
When will I come back to Thailand again? When will I see you again?
And the minute i reach Changi Airport, “BACK TO LIFE, BACK TO REALITY”. UGH!
Got to start packing and meeting up with the rest. My schedule’s packed and I can’t believe I’m leaving in two weeks!!!!!! Super excited
Love you all!
